What was interesting was that there was a thin driveway space at the side of the property, but the owners had placed a note in the gate saying that this should not be used! We did, every day as had no choice. This drive should be expanded to ensure it can be used properly and the gates removed. This would create probably the best cottage we would have stayed at. Other then this, the cottage was lovely, but the lack of convenient parking prevents me from recommending it.
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found our cottage to be lovely, however disappointed that you appear to have had some difficulties with the on street parking. Nowhere in the cottage advert does it state that parking is always available, however there is ample street parking and we have always found spaces to be available on our numerous visits. The driveway up the side of the house is very narrow and has no dropped kerb and our enquiries to the local authorities to have an off road parking area have been as yet unsuccessful. For these reasons we kindly request that visitors abide by our requests. We do not put up signs without reason and only ever have your best interests at heart.
